In order to be able to access the desired components of the wall package system after troubleshooting, it is necessary to first of all study how to open and close the components of wall water heaters. The general steps will be as follows.
1) Disconnect the power supply
2) Close the gas valves and water inlet to the water heater
3) Separate the water heater cover by opening the connection screw
4) Open the copper pipe nuts for cold inlet water and hot water outlet
5) Open the gas cylinder head nut connected to the water heater gas regulator
6) Separation of water heater chimney interface pipe
7) Separating the water heater from the wall by pressing up and releasing the screws
8) Place the water heater on the work table
9) Open the retaining screws holding the adjustment cap, remove the spring fasteners attached to the heat exchanger, and remove the adjustment cap from the heat exchanger.
10) Open the copper pipe nuts between the regulator and the converter
11) Unscrew the thermocouple screw, electrode and spark plug, remove the lighter wire plug and separate them from the water heater.
12) Remove the spark plug pipe nuts from the body of the gas regulator and spark plug nozzle, and separate the thermocouple nut from the connection point.
13) Open the pilot nozzle from the base of the spark plug and flame spreader, and separate the flame spreader from the water heater
14) Open the screws on both sides of the throat of the gas regulator burner
15) Separate the regulator and the back of the water heater using the corresponding screws
16) Separation of torch
17) Remove the converter inlet and outlet pipes from the support gap by pressing it upwards.
